Wonderful company and excellent first customer experience. Following a recommendation by a friend, I ordered my first jumbo batch (don’t even have the wood burner installed yet!). Did not disappoint, delivery time as expected and communication good. The quality is great and we enjoyed stacking it. Friendly man delivered and made sure it was placed where I needed it. Highly recommend Ferring Firewood.🪵

I visited yesterday to get some fire wood and kindling. I requested help to carry them to the car and was told ‘no not now dear, it’s lunchtime’ between 5/6 young men and women sat and watched me struggle to do this alone. I had 5 bags of wood and 1 kindling bag. I am a very slight women and found this very difficult.
I’ve been paying £160 a month to this company as it is my only source of heating, it’s been crippling me financially and they could not 2 mins to help me! I asked when the loads would be available and was told ‘well not now, obviously we are in the plant season’ Her tone and manner was disgusting.
I will be looking elsewhere to get what I need as I will not give the little money I have to these people . Shame because the younger women is very pleasant.

Always offer professional advice, helping us to get exactly the right plants for the space and position in the garden. Such good prices too for mature plants. Also told us what compost to buy for the mature plants. Very helpful and friendly!

Great service! Guys were super helpful, even waiting until after closing time to sort me with my wood (mind the traffic after 4pm!) Got the 'tub' size: a car boot-full of seasoned logs for the stove, for less than £28! Won't be buying wood anywhere else. Good size bag of kindling too for £6. Very happy customer! 👍
