Went to Fernygrove for the first time today , cannot believe it's taken me this long. Such a beautiful place had a sausage bap, literally the best sausages I have ever had! Had a latte, which was really good, I loved it here. The views are amazing, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, I can't wait to go back! Cannot recommend enough!! Oh and the farm shop looked very good !!

The good:
- Very friendly staff
- Nice outdoor seating area
- Good Coffee
The bad:
- Food is nothing special, very ordinary. We hoped it would be organic and more tasty food but it tasted like any other standard coffee shop food.
- Cakes are extremely sweet.
We didn't have any meat products so maybe that's what they have expertise in.
Same goes for the farm shop, apart from meat products everything else seems to be stuff you can find in supermarkets.

Quality Food with Great Views!

Went for breakfast on a beautifully sunny morning - sat in the garden and admired the views whilst our youngest played on the playground - absolute bliss!

Food is top quality, particularly the sausages made on-site (we bought some from the in-site butcher to take home).

Staff are friendly and the restaurant is very clean - well worth a visit!

A lovely location, on a sunny Saturday summer's day. It was busy but we found an outside table, all very clean and with nice shady parasols. We were warned food would take a while but actually it wasn't too long, and the drinks were served promptly. Plenty of staff, you could see they were all working their socks off, but very efficient and polite. Good food and fair pricing. A great find.

It’s really lovely here! Such a beautiful view outside with wide open space and a lil chicken pen! Haha also a play area for the kids so they can let off some steam. Waitresses were really nice, and I the food was good.. came out super fast too! I wasn’t a huge fan of the “2 way system” where you had to wait to get your coffees etc as it made me feel like a waitress lol but other than that.. really lovely!

I've been a few times now for a mid week lunch. Not earth-shattering cuisine but hearty and tasty it certainly is! Breakfast/brunch options are varied from traditional English to benedict to pancakes+bacon!
Challenge anyone to find better chips in Berkshire! :-). Proper barista style coffee ... my flat white was as good as I have had ever.
No licence, so no beer or wines with, say, a lunch, but perhaps with the growing popularity of zero alcohol that might be a place to look for them.

The food is lovely but the earl grey tea for two was watery and weak. But what was concerning was the welcome service. We arrived at 9.30am to be told rather brusquely because of the weather we could only have the table for an hour. This act of limiting the time frame you sit at a table we have never experienced anywhere in the UK or Wales and as regular patrons of Fernygrove Cafe we were shocked especially as other patrons were not given the same instruction. 15 minutes of the hour was spent waiting for the food. We sat and watched other patrons being greeted but not time limited. Sadly we will not be returning because of this discriminatory behaviour . We arrived at 9.30am and are now leaving at 10.15am. Not an enjoyable experience to rush ones breakfast. 3 stars is for the food.
