Wow what a place! We’d come up to Manchester for a family funeral and were staying in the area. We didn’t get breakfast in the hotel deciding to sleep in. I googled to see where to get an all day breakfast and this place popped up, so we decided to try it before driving back down south. We loved the restaurant as soon as we walked in. It had a great atmosphere and a divine coffee smell. I’m really picky about my coffee and this didn’t disappoint, gorgeous flavour!
It’s obviously a really busy place and we were very lucky to get a table. 10 minutes later they we’re turning people away because they were up to capacity on tables and a food wait time of 30 minutes. We ordered a full feed and a veggie feed. We definitely shouldn’t have ordered chips to share as well, because the breakfasts were a great size. I must admit we did wait over 30 minutes, but it was absolutely worth the wait when it arrived. I always say that good food takes time and this was seriously good food. It was all locally sourced and completely made from scratch, it looked and tasted delicious. The flavour of my pan fried greens were out of this world and to have homemade beans was such a treat. We were able to pick up a couple of boxes of eggs to take home too. We will be recommending FEED General Store to all our family and friends in the area. It’s a great little find. I would suggest you book a table not to be disappointed.

an absolutely amazing space in the community. Good food, good coffee, good hot chocolate. The cake selection is fantastic. Love shop aria for ordering food a lovely atmosphere which is somewhat spoiled by the large rode it is located next to. The staff are lovely too.

This was my third visit to Feed since moving to the area and unfortunately, it will likely be my last when it comes to food. I decided to try their Sunday roast this time, but it turned out to be a major letdown. While my partner enjoyed her meal, my experience with the roast beef was disappointing enough that I ended up leaving the entire meal.

The beef was tough, undercooked and had the unappetising appearance of something that had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long. The roast potatoes were equally underwhelming — dry and stale, as if they had been prepared the day before. The greens were burnt and the gravy was watery and flavorless.

To their credit, the staff did ask for my feedback and offered me a free dessert, which I declined. Instead, they gave me a complimentary cookie and removed my partner’s drink from the bill. While I appreciated the gesture, I would have preferred if they had addressed the real issue — the £20 I paid for a meal I couldn't eat.

Sadly, this experience has solidified my decision not to dine at Feed again. The coffee is still great, so I may return for that, but as for the food, I think I’m done.

I've found myself coming back here all the time. It's got some of the best food on offer in the Heston's. Amazing breakfasts. Great Sunday roast. And all the other times are just lovely! Coffee is maybe the best around.
Wana a good night out? Vinal nights on the first Thursday is great fun.

Used to be great, not so much anymore. So painfully expensive and service just subpar.
I ordered a kids meal and 10 minutes later was advised an element of this was sadly not available, they offered a replacement which I agreed to but then they advised I had to pay the 60p for it! I had paid almost £30 for a meal, a kids meal and two drinks.
I paid the 60p, but it was sadly in exchange of any future visits from myself.
I will say, the coffee is nice and it used to be lovely, hopefully it finds its way back.

feed is my local and I have been coming here since it opened. It by far has the best hot chocolate around in my opinion and food is always on point!

I have noticed over the past year though that the customer service has felt flat, it hasn’t felt warm and inviting and I’ve often left feeling a bit gutted and overall I feel this has tainted my love for feed 🙁

What a fantastic evening we had attending Story Circle X Feed. Two interesting and cleverly written stories combined with delicious curry and drinks in a lovely, informal setting. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Look forward to another Story Circle event soon.
