Absolutely lovely place to grab a beer (or few) and learn a bit more about the brewing process. My wife got me some vouchers so we came by. Andrew was brilliant, gave us some detail on the various beers, gave us some quick details of the process showing us some of the vats for brewing. We got some beers for home and enjoyed a pint at the lovely mini pub. On google maps it says you need to go right at the end of the country lane but you need to go straight on (there is a sign which is looking a bit worse for wear and hard to see).

We visited the Farr Brew taproom to see the packaging we designed for them in it's natural habitat!

We had a fantastic time, receiving a tour around the brewery from Nick and sampling some of the fine Farr Brew ales. The Tap Room's comfortable and inviting and the rural location is perfect to relax in.

Top Tip: If you're planning a visit make sure you have a designated driver/book a taxi as it's a little out of the way. But never fear, the pubs of Wheathampstead and Sandridge are only a couple of miles away!

Visited here whilst working in Hatfield and after seeing the sign decided to pop back when they were open.

It's a bit rustic and the price of beer isn't cheap but it tasted great and definitely worth a stop if you're close by and they're open.

The whole family did the Farr brewery tour one Saturday. The talk was fun and interesting and the beer in the Taproom afterwards delicious.

What fabulous personal service! I purchased vouchers for my son as a present for Christmas and was unsure they would arrive in time with the postal strike. Arrived home to find Farr Brew had hand delivered them to my door . Just fabulous above and beyond for customer service.

My toddler bought two brewery tour tickets for her papa and pops for Father's Day, and I think it is safe to say that the tour went down very well! The men both learnt a lot and even more importantly had a brilliant time! Highly recommend 😊

Such a hidden gem! Really cozy little tap room with lovely staff and great beer. Had a few pints and then was able to purchase some bottles and a few pint glasses to continue living the 'Farr Brew experience' at home! Can't wait to return!

Small brewery hidden in the countryside, mashing some nice real ales. The brewery is only open to the public on weekends. Tours are available for £10 a head. All beers are £3.50 at the time of writing. A little disappointing, given the lack of facilities!
However, the quality of the beers is undoubted. You can always make your way to the nearest Farr pub, the Elephant & Castle, for the full retail experience. Recommended.
