I was so looking forward to my "fresh" baguette today, and I highly doubt it was fresh as advertised. It was quite dry and chewy. On the other hand it's a lovely shop and some of their foods are great, you have to pay a bit more which I kind of understand.

Lovely place with a great selection of veggies, including some nice more unusual ones thatcare harder to find elsewhere. Good selection of local meats and cheeses too!

Found this place by accident in December when buying a Xmas tree from the adjoining garden centre. Great selection of local fruit n veg. Went back week later for whole Xmas dinner shop. Even had sausage and bacon. Made tastiest Xmas dinner ever. Great cheese too.

The cashier was really sweet and I enjoyed a nice chat with him. The fresh produce was disappointing; fruit flies circling and lots of rotten vegetables for sale. I had to throw my garlic away as it was full of mould.

Great wee local shop which has a wide variety of top quality local products. Fresh veg is always superb, breads and cakes really good and the steak pies must be tried! The sheer volume of meat in these makes them a wonderful weekend treat.

Staff great too. Chatty and friendly, willing to give advice on using certain ingredients. Of course, it's not cheap but if you want local quality then look no further.

Guys, I will just say this: If you are in this shop you need to taste milk in the glass bottles - tastes so much better than the one you get in the shops. Also, the pastry is out of this world! Really loved their baguettes! It's all pricey, yes, but well worth it for the quality of the food. (Even eggs were different from the supermarket ones, I could see that in the colour of yolk when cooked.) Definitely pop-in for a wee treat now and then! P.s.: pastries go really fast - you need to be early 😊

Lovely atmosphere in this cute farm shop. Staff very friendly and helpful. Buffalo steak burgers to die for and their steak pies take some beating ! Absolutely delicious 😋
