I have now been twice as the location is great for my distance travel and the food is really good with a place to sit.
But I was impressed the staff, observing how hard they work. I was particularly interested in one particular lady who served me, Maria. So kind and helpful and even updated me on my food. She was so kind helping other customers and being so friendly and welcoming. Lovely lady. Please pass on my thanks.

What a lovely place to stop on the way down to Cornwall, for friendly sevice & delicious home-cooked food. We arrived too late for lunch, but the chef still made us a freshly mixed salad with Mediterranean dressing, decorated with an edible flower (like in this photo from a previous visit) to go with our sausage roll & pasty. We'll try to time our stops better next time. Ample parking, scrupulously clean loos & tempting farm shop produce as well. Definitely worth 5 stars!

Booked a table for Sunday lunch weeks in advance. Got an immediate email to confirm from Steven. Emailed to confirm nearer the time & again a very quick response. Staff were absolutely lovely. The chef talked us through the meats, all were delicious, & the choice of veg was superb. All freshly cooked. Couldn’t fault a thing. Will be back for breakfast! Thank you.

Great stop off on the A30. Solid cooked breakfast with quality bacon and sausages. Fantastic pasty with SHORT CRUST pastry. All served quickly and efficiently by super friendly staff.

Partner and I came in for a cooked breakfast last weekend and have to say it was lovely.
Once you get your head around how much treating yourself to going out for a cooked breakfast costs these days this place represents fair value for money.
The food was hot, lovely tasting and everything was cooked properly, no snotty eggs or incinerated hash browns here.
It obvious that quality ingredients are used.
The coffees were nice, food arrived quickly served by friendly staff and the place was nice and clean.

Outstanding farm shop. Great food, v fresh, well prepared. Decent coffee. Always busy when I’ve been in, which tells you something. I’ve had quiches, sausages rolls, pasties, sandwiches, all excellent.

Visited on 20th February, whilst I accept it was half term so may have been busier than usual, service was very poor. When we eventually got a table we were offered a booster seat for my toddler. The straps and the seat were covered in black mold, luckily I had my own booster seat in the car, there was no way my child was sitting in it, touching their hands on it and eating food in it. When we ordered we were not informed of a wait on food and ended up having to ask about our order after 30 minutes of waiting. We then received it 10 minutes later. The food was average at best, a pork carvery roll, a small sausage, beans and chips and a sausage roll with salad. This should not have taken 40 minutes to prepare as the pork was already carved and ready to put together and the sausage roll came out cold when it should have been warm. By this point we were so hungry we just ate it. We feel our order had been forgotten as the staff kept apologising. £30 spent, definitely not worth the money.
