Quality meat overall but they have really dropped the quality of the pork ribs which is a total rip off for the price. Would be better if they standardized the size of their t-bone steaks and chops. Faster service would be beneficial as the queues are normally long and slow. Nice staff though. Good selection of dry goods

A colleague told me about this place and how cheap it should be to buy meat. When I visited, it was crowded. The line was so long from the entrance to the exit. It took about an 1hr to get through. They sell all kinds of meat and other things that are more specific to African food. I didn't find this place any cheaper than Asda, in fact it was more expensive to buy pork and chicken. I checked the prices. Fish, however, was much cheaper than at Asda and much larger cuts. Red meat, beef, ribs, lamb etc was marginally cheaper as well, except for minced beef. I was very disappointed to learn that the chicken was frozen. Made me think that it wasn't fresh. This should be a farm, why is the chicken frozen? However, the size of the birds was slightly bigger than that of Asda or Tesco. But I still prefer to buy from Asda or Tesco because it's not frozen and cheaper. Overall, I don't think I will go back. There are cheaper places in Bradford to shop.

Excellent farm shop with meat pricing that is excellent! If you're a neat lover this is heaven. Whether you can cook it properly is a different matter though. But certainly good quality meat and they had all kinds of cuts. Only issue I had was the service from some staff, bit rude and just lacking customer service. But it was a win at the end of the day as I tucked into my t-bone steak. They also have a restaurant on site which we tried. It was really good. And well priced. Give this place a shot

my associate informed me about this butcher and i chose to pay them a visit. They sell fresh veges, high quality meat and the products were exactly what I was looking for. I was so impressed with the quality of products I received. Their customer service is outstanding. Keep up the good work team

Lovely butchers, good selection of meats, some Southern African spices and confectionery. The prices are good, bulk boxes of meats available and lovely staff. Parking on a weekend is nearly impossible but you do eventually go on. Lost 1 star as the prices for for the SA delicacies have gone a bit crazy...

My friend told me about this little gem of a place a couple of weeks ago so I decided to go to the shop yesterday.. what a lovely quaint place! Lovely lay out, very clean and the staff were really helpful! I had some of the rump steak for dinner and it was really delicious! I would definitely recommend Model Farm and will be doing my shopping there going forward

I used to go to the London Meat Market to do my meat shopping but the fuel and congestion and ULEZ charge was not worth it. The Farm shop is very cheap and closer to me. I also like the Zimbabwean products like Sun Jam, Things, Mazoe and more.

I usually do my meat in bulk and need to have a functional trolley to pull my stuff. The farm shop's trolleys are a bit worn out and hard to push and two tills can get congested when there are a high number of customers. However the value more than makes up for these flaws and hence the 4 stars.

Lots of South African treats to remind you of home and well priced. Boerewors is excellent. Be prepared to queue, they are very popular.
