What a unique gem! Milkshake vending machines that take contactless payments in the middle of the Forest of Bowland, and homemade ice creams served with such friendly service: Jaffa cake and Rocher flavours went together beautifully. Road and parking situation was totally comfortable for us, and that was with 3 other customer cars there. Not sure what others had to complain about 😁

Absolute belting ice cream and milkshakes run by a lovely couple. Ignore the 2 bad reviews, they're winging about someone parking (not any fault of the owners) and a rocky path up to the farm. My car has been up it fine many times with no issues. 10/10 for me 🍦

Such an amazing place, run by a lovely couple. Small family business that they're working very hard to build from the bottom up. The best Gelato we've ever had and both the milk and milkshakes are incredible and the views are outstanding. Can it get any better? They've got their feet firmly into the ethical and regenerative farming. Calves stay with their mums(unlike the majority of dairy farms where they're taken away at birth) which is something I want to support fully. Their rare breed, free ranging pork is the best we've had. The track up to the farm is a little rough in places, but the name says it all "Farm on the Fell"! Just drive a little slower. The gelato, milkshakes and view are worth it I promise. These guys are still figuring things out, give them chance to get things how they want them and support what they're trying to do here - it's a fabulous way to farm.

Unfortunately didn't try the gelato. It might be a good and thoughtful idea to warn people before they venture to the farm about the terrible state of the road. Only suitable if you're in a 4x4. My standard car started scraping on the unmade road and I hope it hasn't caused any lasting damage. I then had to reverse with no turning area back to the main road.

Lovely Cherry gelato, and also bought an insulated tub of Eton Mess and Salted Caramel to take home (which you can return for a small refund like the old pop bottles !). Will be back to get some milk and home reared pork for sure.
