I've recently started working with my husband in the farm office and have become involved with the cattle record keeping. I've used Excel a lot in the past and Farm Matters uses a similar, intuitive spreadsheet style to display just about any information you could want to record or see. The backup and support from Neil and the team has been fantastic and I'd highly recommend this software, especially if you're new to electronic record keeping.

I’ve been using Farm Matters as my livestock management software for around 10 months now having previously used a package from a different software provider. The move was prompted by the need for more detailed performance recording, something that my previous package struggled with. Several packages were reviewed but Farm Matters stood out as offering a user friendly, extremely customisable program that offered nearly everything that I wanted. I mentioned the missing features to Paul during my free trial period and was amazed to find them added to the program before I’d even signed up to use it!

Farm Matters has become a vital part of my business; it covers the basics of cattle and sheep recording very well whilst integrating neatly with BCMS and ARAMS. It also offers the ability to customise records to an incredible depth if you wish but most importantly allows you to retrieve, print or export this data in the format you need easily too. We’ve already discovered several opportunities to increase performance which had gone un-noticed with our previous package and as we build our data over the next few years I’m confident these improvements can be built upon further.

Neil and Paul are backbone of this company and despite my best efforts I’ve yet to manage to break either the software or the developers. It’s refreshing to find people as dedicated to their product as I am to my cattle and I’m so glad I decided to make the switch to Farm Matters when I did.

I have used the Farm Matters programme for many years and very much rely on it in all aspects of our farm record keeping. It has become an essential tool in our business and is used for sheep, cattle and medicine recording; it is linked to BCMS and ARAMS so recording movements is quick and easy.

The backup received from Neil and Paul is second to none, they are willing to listen to problems and help accommodate our requirements where possible. I would fully recommend this programme to anyone.

I have used Farm Matters software for around 10 years now, and would be unable to run my business without it. I operate a closed suckler herd, calving all year round and the only way this works is through good record keeping. Farm Matters takes all the stress out of this and is highly beneficial as a management tool rather than just a record keeping platform. It enables any animals that are not performing to be identified quickly and helps to keep the herd operating to it's maximum efficiency.

The back up and support from Neil and Paul is exceptional and they are prepared to answer even the most silly questions with patience and humour. They are also prepared to listen to modifications and suggestions for improvements with these often appearing in the next update.

A cheap price to pay for good management and peace of mind over the various legislation that we all have to contend with.

Recently moved to Farm matters.
Whilst it does lack some things at present. I can say they listen and develop all the time.
They have done numerous updates at my suggestions even while I was on the trial period, and have kept updating.
Most importantly, he is on the end of the phone. No premium rate support lines ect.
