Just moved to Easingwold and are very lucky to have so many wonderful food places, one of which is Farmgate. The loveliest staff and the best eggs I've ever tasted. The prices are very reasonable for such a small business. Looking forward to having some deliveries.
Plus a glorious drive.

A lovely farm shop that we visited for the first time today. Very knowledgable of their stock and also very helpful and friendly. It’s so wonderful when a business gets it right, and this place definitely has. We look forward to visiting again soon.

I love this shop.

It has everything you need. If you care about animal welfare and farming they slaughter the chickens after 3 months compared to an average of 42 days for the large supermarkets and the beef is grass fed. The owners know where all their produce comes from. The cheeses are artisian, lots of local dairy, organic vegetables and fruit. I also found I had minimal plastic in my weekly shop compared to the big supermarkets.

I think if you want to eat food that is healthy, tasty and free from all the additives, emulsifiers etc that is pumped into our food by the conglomerates this shop is the best place. The owners are fantastic and I believe they are ethical decent people selling as close to natural food as possible.

If you are local they will also deliver to your doorstep. You just need to email the owners with a list and they'll arrange to get the food to you.

Can only endorse what the owner says. Had a great chat about the choice of meats and cheese particularly. Also stock local beers and wines, including Dunesforde. Worth a visit if you are nearby on a Friday or Saturday

Wow, what can I say, talk about going above and beyond. I had a hamper at Christmas made by my daughter which included a bottle of Carr House Farm organic ginger & lemon cordial so when it was finished I wanted to source some more. Spoke to Steve at the Farm Gate Farm shop who organised a shipment to be sent to me with next day delivery, excellent friendly service and highly recommended.
