Just stopped there as could not a find a decent looking cafe open, place nipping clean & lovely chatty staff, got a couple of small quiche two cups of soup and a pastry each , drove across to the harbour and enjoyed the best soup ever followed up by the quiche and pastry

Nice to see an incident that can take on and beat the chains,!!
As we're on holliday we will be back as there's a lot more to.

Great store for pies, sandwiches, cakes and homemade ready meals. Have had both take out personally and their buffets. Always beautiful food and really fresh. The ladies in the store are also super friendly and helpful.

Excellent quality produce and service. Best fresh lettuce I've seen since a French market. We've had the duck eggs with bacon and Lorne sausage from two doors along. Pie tomorrow. These shops are worth a detour.

Wonderful shop really friendly and fantastic fruit and veg not to mention sandwiches and cakes! My little whippet had a sausage a few times when we shopped there they were so lovely. Thank you for your top quality service

A lovely little food haven selling their own farm produce, pies, and probably lots more besides. I stop here regularly because their pies are the best I’ve tasted bar none. A massive selection so wide it’s hard to choose what to have. Take a look at the website menu if there is one, but I usually opt for a steak pie- containing simply delicious rich gravy and the biggest chunks of beef I’ve ever seen in a pie, encased in rich shortcrust pastry that all just melts in the mouth. Another favourite is the haggis, sausage and beans pie- which, while eating the last one, prompted me to think OMG a haggis beans and CHEESE pie. Just visited today and there they were!!!!! Not sure whether a new invention or not, but thick cheese on top of a good layer of baked beans in tomato sauce on top of a good layer of delicious haggis. Heaven. I even rang to tell them, such was the perfect ratio of cheese to beans to haggis to pastry- which, for this pie, seemed to be more like the pastry you get in a Scotch pie. Go there- browse- and enjoy. No doubt they also do marmalades and jams and lots of farm-fresh veg; again, take a look at the website. Next on my list to try is a macaroni cheese pie 😋 Nom nom. A lovely little place, with canny staff, that deserves to do very well 🙌🏻
