Two stars given for the nice design/finish of the watches. ZERO stars given for the poor (non existent) after sales/warranty service.

Their default position appears to be to fob off warranty related questions and probably blame you for not getting the watched serviced every 3-4 years (which costs around £200 and is NOT even required by the movement manufacturer who recommends 5 years and most watchmakers say they should run well for 7-8 without a service).

Anyway, buy with care, waste another £200 after 3 years on an unnecessary service and then hope that Farer might honour the 5 year warranty, though I feel they may well dodge that. Essentially the 5 year warranty might be more realistic to quote as 3 years, then no help at all.

In my specific case, turns out a plate screw had come out and was blocking the mechanism - so poor QC on the original tightness of the screws.

All Farer had to do was inspect the watch (which was 3 days out of warranty but they were not interested in looking at it at all) and they would have found the lose screw, put it back and I would have been a happy customer. It would have cost them 15 minutes work by their service team and built a positive reputation from me that is worth way more than the cost to sort it out.

Instead, I feel the same way as others who have raised a mechanical issue with their watch and been told it's not Farer's problem. Check on TrustPilot for more similar comments.

Bought my first ever automatic here a few months ago for my 30th birthday. I’m fairly new to the watch world and after some long searching and thinking these seemed to have been rated highly from other customers and other watch reviewers on Instagram! The thing that always attracted me to Farer were the bold designs that no one else was doing. I went ahead and got myself a Bernina Chronograph Sport as it reminded me of a vintage car dial! I love it to bits. I get many a comment on how it looks and I couldn’t be happier. The service was also great, I had some questions about warranty and and the watch - the service team went above and beyond to share information with me.
I would highly recommend Farer for both watches and service, you won’t be displeased with the quality.
