A fantastic spot for a Sunday roast, perfectly placed for a stop on the way back from Cornwall. The ingredients were clearly high quality and locally sourced, making for a roast that was full of flavour. Everything was cooked beautifully, from the tender meat to the crisp roast potatoes and rich gravy. Conveniently close to the motorway. it’s well worth a visit. Would definitely recommend and will be going again.

Often stop here on bike rides and it's perfect! Easy to get to, friendly staff and good food. The milkshakes are incredible - best milkshake I've ever had as made with proper Devon ice cream 😋

The farm shop is very nice with a strong range of local produce and a cafe. There are sheep to look at and it has a big car park, very accessible for those with mobility issues.

Café is a nice space with a good menu. It is more akin to a restaurant than a 'cafe' , with main meals and lighter options.

Prices versus portion size feels like it is definitely balanced towards the more expensive end with the larger meals. But then good quality ingredients do not come cheap. There is an extensive list above the bar about their suppliers and the list is dominated by local Devon businesses.

Got a load of steaks from here and loads of extras like potatoes, mushrooms and cakes. Best steak i’ve ever eaten in my life. The meat melts in your mouth, you can feel the quality in the texture and the flavour was out of this world. I cooked them for my mothers birthday and everyone who had one said the same thing. It was the rump steak we had. The cafe is lovely too. Highly recommended.
