So happy to have found Essential Co-operative for our residential Buying Group of the past 10 years - you all work so hard to source and deliver our well-priced bulk orders of organic foodstuffs, your drivers are amazing on their long runs across the South and so skillful and patient in turning in our urban road! And your phone staff are helpful and straightforward ( and accessible!) and give good prompt info on any changes to orders etc. Thanks everyone for our lovely piles of food boxes, keep up the good work and Happy Easter to you all 🙂

Ordered shampoo as was on special offer, sent the me item ordered and charged full price. Claim to have run out of special offer.... Feel mugged. Not good practice.

I have used Essential Trading Co-Operative in Bristol for over 25 years. It is a pleasure to do business with them . Their staff have been refreshingly genuine, friendly, helpful & kind, especially their delivery drivers . Some have on occasion gone beyond the call of duty out of a genuine desire to help others. We could do with more people acting like this in society! Lovely staff, good products, - a genuinely ethical, well-meaning company. Recent times have been especially challenging for companies which are smaller but they're always happy to explain any changes they need to make. I recommend this company without hesitation & urge more people to set up their own buying groups & to buy their goods from them.

Over 20 years customer loyalty wiped out in a 5 message email stream. I can only describe the attitude of the sales person I dealt with as dismissive and uncooperative.
Thankfully Suma were more than happy to facilitate my buyers group.

Dog loves the food and it’s great quality. Delivery is quick as well.
Only downside is the website is soooo slow especially if ordering on your mobile but still best dog food around

The warehouse is in a residential area yet they start work at 5am metal clashing against metal, forklifts reversing with their beeps. Might be ethical food, but not ethical to their neighbours or environment. Double standards.
