I have used this branch before for vans but this was the first for a car. The manageress was dreadful, rude unhelpful and her attitude was poor. Tried to give me a smaller car than what I ordered and also claimed it was a premium model. Even thought the website says different. I asked for a saloon car and she told me they didn't do saloons. When I asked why advertise them she said I don't buy the fleet!!! really that's your response to a customer complaint!
Because I protested she cancelled the booking so I had to try and go elsewhere. I was due to go on a family vacation so this manager completely ruined it for everyone with her unhelpful behaviour.
For reference the car she tried to give me I could have got for £100 cheaper online so would have been ripped off if I took it from them too.
Uncaring, Unhelpful, rude and obnoxious that's all I can say about her and I can see from reviews this is not the first time either someone has complained about her or trying to give customers smaller cars than they paid for.
Due to her very poor attitude I have raised this complaint with head office and copied in CEO so they are aware of the way people are dealt with in their company.
I would think twice about using them if I was you or be prepared that you could be let down at the last minute with little other options to consider.

I have used Enterprise car hire services, as I needed a curtesy car after my accident. Everything went smoothly and I can’t prise Hannah enough. She picked me up when I was collecting the car and also gave me a lift back when I returned the car. Her customer service is second to none. Thank you

I've always used Enterprise to rent a car when needed and the service I receive is the best. The staff are friendly and helpful and always a warm welcome. They have a vehicle to suit whatever your needs and to suit your budget, I wouldn't rent a car from anywhere else.

Cheap and easy to book. Only downside is they keep the £200 refundable deposit quiet which isn’t ideal when that gets sprung on you

The staff at the Bishop Auckland site are very nice and friendly but They can not solve my problems. They can only tell me to get in touch with their violation office ?
I've tried twice to get in touch with their traffic violation office via email. I've tried 15 times by phone and got cut off every single time, so no one to actually talk to
I'm 71, and when you are not very good at technical stuff, it becomes a problem when you can't actually talk to someone

Just hired a van 17th May from Enterprise Bishop Auckland. I just done a long 12hr round trip to Aberdeen to pick up a motorbike I've just purchased . The Van I hired didn't miss a beat. Really nice group of people,to deal with and great service. Would use again & thoroughly recommend .Alan

Brilliant service, nothing was a bother. After being in an accident I was provided with a SUV from enterprise through my insurer, this was far too big and was totally different to the Golf I'm used to driving, as expected I wasn't just confident driving it. Aden made sure this was changed to a smaller vehicle which was still too big due to the vehicle class my insurance company had requested, He cleaned a car as I was on site to ensure I had something similar in size to my golf which i feel much better driving. Thankyou Aden!
