All 3 of my house cats love this brand, especially the tuna loins
It’s more expensive than the well known big brands but the product quality makes it worth the price, plus it’s a local business so I’m more than happy to support, highly recommend

I've been using Encore 156g tins for many years now. Now at £7.55 for 5 tins.
Up until recently I'd no issues even at the price.
The contents used to be packed solid with chicken breast and vegetables OR beef with vegetables etc with a small amount of water, resulting in my dog getting a good feeding.

Recently there has been a significant change to the ingredients.

There is now much less chicken or beef and vegetables in the tins. Most of the tins are now taken up with a gloopy vegetable gelatin that they call a gravy.

I can now buy freshly cooked chicken breast from my supermarket.

I would guess its a money saving change but I'm not willing to pay good money to feed my dog gelatin instead of chicken or beef.

Very recommended!!! My cat was on Sheba and Purina Gourmet for many years, all time hungry, asking for food about 7 times a day and didn't want to complete what was on her plate. By changing to Encore I started having a piece of mind< my cats eat most of portion, it looks like pure meat, and goes for her business, to sleep or walk and not bothering me with "give me food""! She looks much happier with what she has on her plate! So am I! Thanks a lot Encore!

Our cat is not a fussy eater ( she likes fish)but she will usually lick the sauce and eat half the food...Since we started giving her the Encore fish pouches with broth, the plate is clean and she even asks to be fed....I like that there are proper pieces of fish and not minced...Very good product!

Please please please open you packets..... I love the product but the wrapping is dreadful when opening these packets it's not easy to keep your kitchen clean as it goes everywhere all you need is a serrated edge at the top and the problem has gone. I hope this can be changed otherwise I will have to look elsewhere for my monthly subscription. It should really be tested and if it has been you need a new tester .

I brought the mixed tins and opened a tin of Ocean fish for my very poorly cat and found a piece of bone about an inch long in the tin. I have messaged them and had no contact from them. Glad I had to cut my babies food up otherwise I would not of found it in time. Totally disgusted

If I was a Cat then I would definitely want to eat Encore ! There are a lot of 'luxury' brands out there that pretend to have top quality meat and fish in them but the Encore range is the only one which actually does what it says on the tin. Both my cats will simply gobble the lot and not leave a morsel. Great to see a British business doing so well and I hope they continue to use the beautifully-packaged little tins as well (I have researched and understand that this is actually a highly sustainable way of packaging, so good environmentally as well). Miaow Encore ! Double Miaow !!

After my mum passed away we took on zuki her pet jack Russell . My mum fed her real chicken , heart , kidneys , fudge etc etc . After trying numerous brand leaders with no success ..... encore pate went down a treat she loves it , I'm even going to move my cats over to it .... thankyou !!!!
