Could not recommend Elmet Alpaca trecking and tea rooms enough, a friendly family run working farm. we’ve had such a lovely day.
My sons and I did the Alpaca trekking which was so much fun and knowledgeable from Ken and Shannon. Being up close to an Alpaca like that is so heart warming. We also had a tour of the other animals which again was very interesting. You can see the animals are loved so very much.
The tea room is very calm and relaxing. We all had afternoon tea which was delicious and home made, the scones were very delightful. Everyone was so friendly and Sam was very knowledgeable about her animals when my son was being inquisitive with all his questions. Thank you to Sam and Ken for being so patient. We really have had one of the best days. We will certainly be back very soon.

Bought Afternoon Tea with Meet & Greet vouchers for family at Christmas - 8 adults and 3 kids, everyone loved it and ended spending most of the afternoon there.

There was so much food with the afternoon tea that we ended up taking goodie bags home

Big thanks to Ken for showing us around the farm and answering our ten million questions! 🤣

We'll definitely be back, even if it's just for a tea and cake to sit out on the decking with the fantastic view 😍

We had a lovely day here with the children. We had booked for a meet and greet with the alpacas and also had the afternoon tea. We fed the alpacas and met all the other animals, the little tour was very informative and interesting. The afternoon tea was lovely and all home made and we sat in the dilly hut to eat it. Would definitely recommend this place

Lovely chilled visit to Elmet Alpacas Tearoom. Think the Alpacas were busy up the field as they weren't about but the tearoom is very relaxing. Tasty sausage sandwich and scone was had along with a creamy cappachino. Will visit again in the Summer when the weather's a bit better and can sit outside on the decking and view the cute Alpacas.

We visited this gem of a place as part of the birthday celebrations for a 60-something year old and loved it! We spent time with the gorgeous alpacas finding out all about their characters, stories and habits. We enjoyed a delicious brunch in the tearoom where our dietary and birthday requests were met without qualms by Sam and her smashing Team. We really enjoyed the delicious homemade food - our only difficulty was in choosing from the beautiful selection of cakes and treats! The environment is delightful and nothing is too much trouble. Great service and super value for money, this is a must-do for anyone in the area!

Bought as a gift for my friends birthday- we did the alpaca trek and shared an alpaca between us (Pilar)and then had afternoon tea. We really enjoyed our afternoon and we spent 3 hours there. The owners were really friendly, informative and the afternoon tea was lovely! I would recommend this to anyone and will be returning and will probably do the meet and greet next time too. We walked as a very small group with two other people which made it even better. A thoroughly enjoyable day for any age!

Such a wonderful time! Other half bought this for a belated birthday gift and we had such a lovely afternoon. We enjoyed walking Raffy (a handsome boy) and learned lots about the alpacas from the knowledgeable staff on our trek. Afternoon tea was fabulous, very generous with delicious homemade cakes and little alpaca biscuits ❤️

Ken also really kindly gave us a lift in his car back to Tadcaster for us to get back to York (as the trains were all cancelled today) which was above and beyond, really appreciated. Lovely family business, would recommend a visit.
