Disappointed.
This was my second order, totally happy with the 1st- no issues.
However having ordered the £130 Dexter beef box which was delivered on my requested date 17th August I was disappointed at the items received.
Nothing apart from the obvious “Rib in” joint of Beef” was labelled.
Some of the beef was “chilled”, other items in the box were part chilled or part frozen.
I emailed “Eat Great Meat” as to ask in any of the part frozen meats etc could be safely refrozen etc, I’m sorry to say NO RESPONSE.
Certainly won’t be ordering again.
JUST HOPE NOBODY GETS FOOD POISONING

Without doubt the best butchers anywhere to be found. The meat is super fresh, good quality and a great taste. Very well priced as well. I have been using Eat Great meat for a very long time and have never had a problem. Fast delivery! I order in large amounts and always find the service to be totally fantastic. I would highly recommend Eat Great Meat and would never use any other butcher. I haven't ordered supermarket meat for years. Good luck to you all.

Bought an assortment of meats, delivered promptly and well packed.
Two tomahawk steaks were included in my order and I was very disappointed with both. Cooked one a while ago but wouldn’t comment until I’d tried the second. Both tough and chewy. I’ve had this cut of meat before from various stores and they have been fabulous. Hope the rest of my order is an improvement.

Having reared our own beef and pork the old fashioned way for years, I struggled to find an equivalent quality - especially in flavour and texture. I found it with this company. Love this place. Ordered twice now and my order keeps getting bigger ?.
First time I ordered 2 tomahawk steaks, lamb chops and some flat iron steak.
It was all amazing!
This time ordered 4kh of rib beef 2kg of brisket, bacon, sausage,black pudding.. pork rib eyes..pork belly!! .
Lush!!

This is a bit of a mixed bag. I ordered a range of meat, fillets, lamb chops, short ribs, bacon etc. The flavour and quality of the lamb chops were excellent, bacon was slightly thick but that’s my preference. My issues lie around communication and the short ribs mostly. I was really disappointed when the ‘short ribs’ turned up uncut, 11 inch whole rib bones. I tried to communicate this via the email address twice and have received no response. For a starter, they just aren’t short ribs, plain and simple. Secondly I would hope to of at least been acknowledged. The problem is, whilst they may taste fantastic when cooked they can not be served portioned like a short rib and will now need to be pulled. Such a shame. Hence my lower score. It would of been a 4 or 5 beyond that. Still to try the fillets.

I have ordered from Eat Great Meat 3 times now & can truthfully say the quality of their meat is amazing. I initially ordered a rib, then a rolled & seasoned pork joint & barnsley chops and more recently rolled sirloin.Excellent all round.
