The meat is always of excellent quality here. I have seen some of the comments on the service /staff and quite honestly I have a) never had an issue personally and b) prefer coming to a local establishment where the product shines through, because this is what actually matters. Try the Braveheart steak and reverse sear it on the bbq. Unbelievable cut of meat!

Haha! What a beautiful little shop. They saved my 'bacon' just before Christmas by sourcing me the biggest shin of beef you've ever seen, after Waitrose let me down. Eastwoods' price was better too. Now, will it fit in the oven...?! Wish there were more shops like this. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Cannot believe how rudely I was treated. Arrived 15 mins before the shop closed and was greeted with ‘nice of you to leave it til last minute on a Saturday’. Secondly absolutely understand that dogs aren’t allowed in the shop but to be told ‘those aren’t allowed in here’ is incredibly rude and unnecessarily aggressive. Will not be returning!

Really disappointed with the meat bought from here. Bought some beef brisket on a Saturday morning and was kept in the fridge. By Saturday evening the smell in house was so bad I had to throw the beef away immediately. The beef had turned very grey looking. Very disappointed as it ruined the food for the next day. Will not be using ever again!!

My favourite butcher. Great quality meats, better marinades and their summer bbq selection is quite frankly, overwhelming. Highly recommended, even the moody bloke ain't that bad. I like how they've kept him about despite the negative reviews.
I do have one quip however, bring back the thicker merlin stakes!

I'm going to echo what the previous reviewer Mr Peter Thompson said.

The meat is good here but my god, the staff are so incredibly rude and dismissive. Especially the South African person I dealt with.
