I picked up a bottle of Black Charge stout at a farm shop after leaving Cornwall having noticed the paper wrapped bottles in a restaurant a few days before. Flavour is nice although it’s a little too bubbly for my liking. I’ll have to try something different next time I’m down in Cornwall. 🙂

What a fantastic place, my son brought me a bottle of Brian's beer (of couse) so we decided to visit, I called first and was informed it was a brewing day but if we wanted to come down he would see if he could spend some time with us.
So myself, my son and his best mate went down, what a pleasant surprise such wonderful friendly people, we had a very quick course in how it all works then sat down and brought a few bottles to drink.

Absolutely love this place. Been a few times, superb beer brewed by people who have a passion for getting it right. Every time we have been as a family, Keith has made us feel really welcome and we love to chat to him. I’m a big Splann fan but there is a brew for everyone. Lovely atmosphere, gets really busy - excellent local business. Give it a go.

A little gem hidden in the Cornish countryside.
Superb beer, can see why they have one awards for there beer. Owner and Brewer great guy and nice to chat too. A visit won't disappoint if you like your beer
