Such a lovely place to stay,we stayed in the granary was so authentic with beams. So Much room & such a comfortable bed. Lots of goodies in fridge. We will definitely be going back there, thank you so much.

I had a couple of email and text exchanges a few weeks ago with Oscar when I wanted to buy the 5ltr. size of raw cols pressed rapeseed oil and it was temporarily "out of stock".

I did receive my oil and now having had a chance to use/taste it, I felt moved enough to voice my approval with writing this review.

I abandoned using extra virgin olive oil a couple of years ago as the prices were fast becoming unaffordable and there were so many scandals in the press about how genuine the manufacture of so called premium olive oil was. Olive oil is not recommended for high temperature frying as the oil deteriorates when used at high temperature. I was therefore using olive oil for salads and as it happens, shop bought rapeseed oil for cooking,

This Duchesse raw cold pressed rapeseed oil is extremely smooth tasting and is brilliant both for high temperature frying and cold in salads. It is even great in homemade mayonnaise without the overpowering flavour that olive oil gives.

I have become a real fan and wish Oscar and the family at their farm in Hertfordshire the very best for continued success of their business and keeping the oil on our dining tables !. - Bravo !
