We camped next door to the vineyard and heard it came highly recommended. Upon arrival, we were met by Toby, a great guy, who was full of knowledge about everything at the Vineyard.

We hadn't booked, but were sat down, given some water and menus.
Not knowing a huge deal about wine ourselves, Toby took the time to chat with us, and also describe and recommend certain drinks.

We ordered the smorgasbord and mushroom pizza to eat, which were both delicious and fresh.

You can also wander freely around the vineyard, which was a nice touch. Overall, Tobys hospitality definitely made our visit very pleasurable and we will definitely be returning.

Thanks again!

Beautiful small vineyard. Loved the Old vine white.
Pizza disappointing. Nice flavour, a little undercooked. Not good value at ÂŁ17 each. Very small and just not comparable to other venues.

One of the most friendliness and welcoming places I have the pleasure of visiting on my English Vineyard tour. On parking we saw the Donkey Zebra before heading into the winery to purchase some unusual wine ( including honey wine !). It was like visiting family or close friends the greeting we were given and even on a Sunday. Took time to chat wine with us.
Out of my list of vineyards to visit in Sussex this hit the top spot.
Highly recommend for a visit. Do not miss visiting.

We had an amazing stay. Lovely setting and Toby and Katy couldn't have been more accommodating. We're not the most knowledgeable wine drinkers but they tailored our tasting perfectly for us. The bell tents and showers were great too. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at Downsview for my friend’s “non hen-do hen-do!”
From the outset Toby and Katy were so helpful and accommodating. Emails were replied to extremely promptly, making organising a trip for 14 people, who all had lots of questions, such as: “are there proper showers?”[y (Yes!) super easy!
We cannot fault anything about the trip at all. The tents were comfy and looked beautiful, the food was delicious (and very generous portions!), the wine was very good, the location stunning and the service second to none!
Thank you so much for all of your help! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Downsview to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, peaceful time away where Toby and Katy will be on hand to provide expert wine knowledge, delicious (pre booked) food, as well as lots of little extras such as shampoo in the hot showers and sun cream!!

Recently spent the weekend at Downsview Vineyard. Everything here was lovely. The tents had everything you need for a comfortable stay and offcourse the wine tasting was fabulous with Toby explaining us the interesting process of wine making and we thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting. Thank you Toby for the lovely stay. We will definitely be back here for another weekend!

Had such a lovely time on the wine tour, went as a couple and were hosted by Katy and Toby. Both really welcoming and informative about their winemaking process. Not intimidating at all (we're no experts!) The English wines they produced were really refreshing, and the charcuterie board is a must!

We'd love to come back for when the grapes are on vines in August time, and they have some great looking bell tents too for glamping.

We stayed at the Idle Hours campsite next door, which is about a 3 minute walk down the road. Highly recommend coming to visit the vineyard if you're in the area!
