We visited Dough today for lunch and we're disappointed from what we expected from the outside. Our table was still dirty when we sat with dried tea stains and sugar grains all over, and we observed two tables become free whilst we were dining and did not get wiped clean before new diners sat down.
We had the focaccia with courgette, peas and cream cheese sandwich which I was pretty tasteless and we didn't overly enjoy.
We may pop in again for cakes and hot drinks as a pit stop whilst in town but weren't overly impressed on today's first visit.

What a gem! We tried their show-stopping cake—not only did it look incredible, but it tasted amazing too! We also picked up a sourdough loaf, which was just as delicious. Top-notch bakery!

A fantastic Artisan Bakers selling real sourdough without any addatives, I can highly recommend the seeded and baguettes. Coffee is great along with pastries and lunch snacks. I encourage you to try, you won’t be disappointed.

Undoubtedly a gem for Taunton. You would expect the morning croissants to taste fresh, baked that morning, but the texture betrayed this - I’d say a day old
