Three generations had a wonderful day here at Heavy Horse Farm. Once you've paid your entrance fee, all the activities and attractions (and there are SO many!) are free. It's not just about the horses, there are so many other things to enjoy too. You can bring a picnic as we did. It's a very safe space for children to just have a great fun day. My granddaughter who's autistic, was treated with kindness and allowed to help with the feeding and leading.

Most amazing day. We arrived at 10am and didn’t leave until 4pm. It’s not very often you can spend the whole day somewhere. My daughter is a horse rider anyway so she felt in her element. Super confident around the animals. They are all so well looked after, clean, tidy and the food was AMAZING. Defo worth the price xxx

Had a brilliant day with my 5 yr granddaughter. Ideal place if you love horses. Lots to do, food was very tasty and all the staff were really friendly and knowledgeable.

What a gem this place is. There’s loads to do. We were 3 generations visiting and every one of us learned something. The cafe serves good value food and additional rides etc are included in the entrance price. The owners clearly have a genuine love for their animals.

Good value for money too much to do in one day. Particular mention to Richard and Chloe (I think we're the names) their contributions that we saw really added to the experience. Constructive improvement comments, HHFP could be laid out clearer not much guidance available on where to find things, when queuing up for rides etc. we went from near the front to right at the back as it's a bit of a free-for-all with no designated queue, kids indoor play area needs better lighting.

What can I say? This place is a wonderful hidden gem! We visited as two adults and were there from 10:30am until 3pm and did not feel bored for a single second. The schedule is varied and great, all the staff were so lovely and the animals were incredibly well looked after. I will be recommending the farm to everyone from now on! I live in South Devon but would travel back here in a heartbeat for a lovely, horsey day out!

Absolutely fantastic place, kids had a great day, there is so much for them to do and get involved with and its great for all ages, our 3 are 1,7 and 13 and they all really enjoyed themselves. Staff are all really welcoming and great to speak with and Absolutely full of knowledge. Would definitely recommend.
