Last year I was fortunate enough to attend a wedding here and stayed at one of the properties on site. The duck ponds, wildlife, and gardens are all stunning and unreal. They made up a lot of our lovely background pictures across the weekend. The breakfast here is amazing as well (highly recommended) and I love the cute boutique shops too. The venue is dog friendly too and one time when we arrived there was a car show.

I often visit the cafe and farm shop at Doddington. Recently I thought I’d visit for the Christmas decorations. This year’s theme was Christmas carols/popular songs. It was fantastic to see the creativity of college students and volunteers come together beautifully. I didn’t want to include too many pics as you really need to go for yourself to experience it ?

Went to visit the Doddington at Christmas opening and wow what a amazing experience they have put on using locally sourced materials , all the rooms were themed on Christmas carols and the rooms just seemed to get better and better . We'll worth the £15 entry . Afterwards we visited the farm shop for a few festive treats . Will be back in the spring to see the gardens waking up .

What can I say, I've lived in Lincolnshire all my life, and embarrassingly, this is my first visit to this incredible venue. All I can say is that this will hopefully be the first of many future visits.
The building is stunning, the grounds are stunning, access is incredible, and the staff/volunteers are second to none.
Even though it was an overcast rainy day it still proved to be one of the best historic houses we have visited.

Doddington Hall is a rather unique Elizabethan Manor, having been privately owned since it was completed in 1600 and passed on through 5 generations of the female line. It retains furniture, paintings, and personal effects through the generations. To help visitors explore the house, free audio guides are provided, and you can request the loan of a book explaining the various paintings, which are conveniently numbered. Timed entry ensures the hall is never crowded. We found the room guides enthusiastic to answer questions. The gardens are a delight, and we were fortunate to visit when approximately 60 sculptures were on display. These are on display until 8th September 2024, and the is no additional charge to view them. Entry to the Hall and Gardens is very reasonably priced at £13 per adult

The whole estate is amazing, and the sculpture trail is brilliantly done. We're not usually big fans of burgers, but they served one of the best we've ever had. Perfectly cooked and excellent service and surroundings.

Every two years Doddington Hall has a Sculpture Exhibition and this year the opening day was Saturday 20th July which also happens to be my birthday! We arrived in glorious sunshine and thoroughly enjoyed the day.
This was our third exhibition.
The parks and gardens looked stunning; the perfect setting to display the amazing sculptures-I truly believe there was something for everyone, no matter what your taste.
I think there were fewer kinetic pieces this year but I loved the tiny mole, the stunning horse and the heads.
I would also visit Doddington just to see the gardens-the formal gardens were a riot of colours and scents and I’m always impressed by the vast array of produce in the kitchen garden.
Lots of opportunities for food and drink, a well stocked shop, a bike shop and lots more means that this really is a great day out!
