Most horrible service ever. Most of the plants arrived smashed up with broken branches and spilled loose soil all inside the packaging. Even after writing to Dobies with pictures they didn’t do anything, not even a simple reply . I got the last batch of plants yesterday after 3 months since placing the order. They should mention it in their website about plant availability. While ordering it was clearly available. And the funniest thing is that even after 3 months the situation is still the same. All plants arrived crushed, broken and tossed around the inside of the packaging with loose soil and exposed roots.
I can also understand that it could be the courier company’s handling which caused this. But still Dobies could respond better and maybe not send packages via this courier company.

Hands down one of the worst websites I have ever ordered from for anything ever. Waited 2 months for an order to arrive which was in transit for over a week turned up damaged beyond use (sat in the dark with no water for a week was not helpful). Called customer services after no response to my emails and they agreed to send out some new plants (I was asked to count how many were salvageable). Said they'd send out some more on Friday, got an email today (Wednesday) saying they wouldn't be despatched until FEBRUARY 2021. Ended up going for a refund (part refund). Don't waste your time.

This is the condition my pea plants arrived in, the plug verbenas I ordered were also half dead when they arrived and have since shrivelled to nothing. I have emailed about the poor quality of the plants on arrival and had an automated reply to say due to workload it may be 10 days before I get a reply. Not good enough!
I shall not be ordering plants on line again.

Waited weeks for an order of 5 pond plants. Enquired about them after a few weeks and was told my cabbage would be with me soon. Enquired again, and was told my pond plants would be dispatched soon. They finally arrived on 18th, and were very poor condition. Deliver note said they were dispatched on the 3rd, so they have been in transit without light or water for around 2 weeks!!! I would definitely avoid this retailer. Now going through the, probably lengthy, process of getting a refund.

Dreadful Customer Service from ‘Tracy’on help
Plants received dried and brown 15 minutes arguing the toss on chargeable call wouldn’t use again they insisted they could only replace no refund forthcoming until I asked for call to be escalated to ‘Manager’

I never complain but after driving 3 hrs thought I’d stop for a coffee, to be told closed the cafe as busy in the morning, I think maybe more staff could be an answer.

This is how the order arrived. It was also many weeks late and I had to continually badger them to get them to send it. I know of others who ordered before me who still haven't received their order. When I asked to be compensated for this they refused. Terrible company - do not use.

I ordered 6 plants from Dobbies, having found their website informative and easy to navigate. That was before I read all the negative reviews! I thought, “Ow no! What have I done!

Anyway, I received a prompt email with information on when each plant is scheduled for delivery. The first two Bay Trees arrived, on time and as scheduled. I held my breath as I started unpacking the perfectly protected plants. To my amazement and relief, the plants were perfect, and just how they showed them on their website. (see picture) Really pleased with them.

I am now eagerly awaiting the rest of the plants. Fingers crossed, they will be as good as the first lot. Watch this space.
