Popped in to get breakfast before a meeting. Queued up for about fifteen minutes to be told I couldn’t order breakfast at that till. Pointed towards an area with “Reserved for afternoon tea” markers out on tables and no staff. Gave up.

Would be handy to have a sign pointing out where to go in the restaurant to get food if the till in the restaurant is not the place.

Garden centre bit is good value. Picked up some sweet peas and geraniums.

Had a sit down lunch today. We had a Mac and cheese with garlic bread and a ham and mature cheddar panini with fries. Both meals came with salad. Service was fast food was hot and delicious. The only thing wrong was the dried ketchup on the ketchup bottle (it was gross). The food was high priced but again hot and delicious.

Absolutely shocked. I saw all cakes and biscuits displayed without coverings..there were people lifting cakes then changing their minds, putting them back on stands. Dobbies get your act together in the name of food hygiene. I already emailed HO about this last month and was told the relevant manager would be informed to address this....obviously not happened. I cant understand why the dome coverings were removed

Lovely modern clean garden centre. Went in restaurant for breakfast. Ordered breakfast roll, £6, expecting something big and full of filling for the price and this is what I was presented with.
Bread stale, bacon crunchy and chewy, not worth the money. Food not amazing but as we arent local and were visiting the area so will note not to return in the future.

Massive indoor and outdoor garden centre.
So much choice and variety of products.
Plenty of free car parking outside.
They even have a great fish department with both aquarium and pond fish and supplies.

Went for coffee and scones a week ago , not in a hurry to go back .staff working really slow serving coffee ,no smiles or how are you ,scones were dry and hard asked where I got knife over there was the reply. Jam 75p ridiculous
Sat down had to take teacup back as was dirty.
I don't know what's going on in Dunfermline retail drinks area rest of staff in store brilliant.
Even the woman showing customers to tables for meals brilliant and helpful.

Dobbies: queued at the cafe to order food, only to find it is sit down service. There were scones, or some food, being stored at near floor level with dogs sitting by it near the cafe entrance. There are too many dogs around for a food outlet, in my opinion. The atmosphere in the outdoor plant area is destroyed by music, broadcast over tinny scratchy speakers. It is truly awful and they'd be better switching it off. I'd rather hear whatever ambient noise there is, even if it is road, over nasty scratchy commercial music - why music outdoors in a plant market There's a complete lack of attention to detail and experience; it makes me think this is what B&Q would do if they wanted to be more upmarket.
