Was in Perth on a business trip, and had to pick up a few of their steak pies as my Mum absolutely loves them. Best butchers in Perth I reckon.

My experience is not good I have mnd and can only soft meat today they kept me waiting for over 10 minutes while they served customers behind me so unless you are able-bodied and going to spend over a fiver your not welcome truly horrible the way they looked through me I just left disgusted

Had the best roast dinner in ages thanks to this butcher's. Got some brisket and some of their pie gravy. Browned the joint in lard and put it in a cast iron Dutch oven with the pie gravy, two sliced cloves of garlic, a star anise and five whole cloves. Slow roasted/ stewed turning joint every 30mins for about four-five hours topping up with water as required. Removed cloves and star anise and served with roast tatties and roast veg. Banging dinner. Thank you loads to the butchers as last brisket we had was from a supermarket and it wasted away to a third of the size ( how much do supermarkets try and weight meat with "water".?)

Staff always so helpful and friendly. I forgot my ticket and they could not trace my payment for my 2lb steak pie to be collected between 230 and 3.00 But they sort it out immediately. I first visited this place in 1949! A big family connection. Thank you to the staff

Great butchers shop staff always very helpful beef and lamb from local farmers best beef and pork sausages around and scotch pies I would highly recommend well worth a visit also great selection stir fry and barbecue food's.

I'm not putting this place down in any way whatsoever, but I must say, like some other places (businesses) in Perth, the quality of some things purchased from here and there just aren't what it used to be. The steak pie I bought today was more pastry than filling and the gravy was quite thin and watery. Just not the same as I remember from years back. Like Murrys pies, are not as they used to be. My apologies, but what happened to your quality..........it's sadly missed.

The steak pies are absolutely amazing. Never tasted something so delicious. The guys working there are lovely too. We needed to bring some back to Cheshire & they packed / boxed them up. Which was really helpful for the 4.5 hour journey home. Thank you 😊
