Beautiful place to visit. If you think that visiting a place like this is an experience only for wealthy people, think again. The quality English wine that's produced here is very reasonably priced and Denbies offer very good discounts as well. There are also nice gifts that can be purchased. There is a reasonably priced guide book called "The house on the hill" that is an interesting read as well all about the history of the location. Although it's a vineyard it's not just about the wine. Just visiting the place is a lovely experience in itself. There is a bar and several restaurants and a hotel and art gallery. The location is also beautiful with stunning views of Box hill. You can also buy plants too from the small gardening shop. You can also walk up the Denbies Hillside and enjoy beautiful views as well across the Surrey Hills. There are several different paths up the hillside that are well worth exploring. All in all a great place to visit run by the very friendly staff who work at the site.

We walked the Denbies North Downs Way and Dorking 3.2 mile route today. Plenty of free parking and a lovely walk around the estate, with great views of the vineyard and nearby Dorking. The guide says an hour, but that's very optimistic, so allow for at least 90 mins. Recommended.

A Fun Wine Tasting Experience! šŸ·

Denbies Wine Estate offers a fantastic wine-tasting experience, combining stunning vineyard views, knowledgeable hosts, and a great selection of English wines. Whether you're a wine enthusiast or just looking for a relaxing day out, this is a great place to visit.

This was my first time going on a wine tasting tour. Originally, I was a plus-one for a friend who had been invited by others, so I had no idea what to expect. The tour was well-organised, starting in a cinema room where we were given a glass of sparkling wine while watching a short film about the history of Denbies. It covered how the estate became a vineyard, the winemaking process, and the different grape varieties used to produce various types of wine.

After that, we took a guided walk through the factory, where we learned more about Denbies' production methods. The highlight of the experience was, of course, the wine tasting itself. The hosts guided us through how to properly taste and savour wine, allowing us to fully appreciate the variety of flavours. We sampled crisp whites, smooth reds, and sparkling wines, all produced on-site. The host was engaging and knowledgeable, explaining the different notes, aromas, and food pairings for each wine.

One thing I regret not doing is purchasing a bottle of Denbies wine from the shop at the end of the tour—but there's always next time!

Highly recommended for wine lovers and anyone looking for a unique and scenic experience in the Surrey countryside.

Really lovely tour. The train car ride was my favourite bit. The views were STUNNING.
The only reason I’m not giving full 5 stars is because I did not enjoy the wine tasting. It felt incredibly rushed and we only tasted 3 wines, all of which were similar, I would have liked a bit more variety. As well as it felt like everything EXCEPT wine was being promoted. Really beautiful place though
Lunch was AMAZING

Stunning place and views! We’ve done the wine tour twice now, with the fizz glass included and I highly recommend it. We’re so lucky to have this just 30min drive from us. Love the little organic food shop and always get cheese and bread to bring home. Delicious!
