We visited Delifonseca on Valentine’s Day, and it was a true gastronomic delight! We were impressed by the unique combination of ingredients and their creative presentation – every dish surprised us with its flavors and textures.

The duck was simply divine: tender, juicy, and not chewy at all, while the salmon literally melted in our mouths. But my absolute favorite dish was the clams with chorizo – an incredible flavor combination!

And then came the dessert, which turned out to be such a generous portion that, for the first time in my life, it felt like too much. It was meant for two, but we could barely finish it!

The prices are mid-range, but every penny is absolutely worth it. The service, ambiance, and quality of the food were outstanding. We’ll definitely be coming back!🤩👍🏻🤤

£16.50 for a sandwich an a few chips. Waited 40 mins and order was wrong and what was delivered was lukewarm. Used to be good here but it’s gone off. Nowhere near enough staff on duty

The Food was great, service for the most part was great…lady who brought out the breakfasts (with curly hair) was really rather rude when bringing the breakfasts out, she threw my grandmothers breakfast down on the table like a bowl to a dog and ignored general pleasantries from the table, which was just thanking her and completely ignored us.

The rest of the service from the staff was great but this makes bad service stand out more.

This waitresses attitude has been noticed before when she has brought food out in the past, by myself and my husband.

Avoid avoid avoid. Not sure what has happened, as we used to come every week years ago and it was always fantastic. Stopped in for some hot sandwiches on a Wednesday lunch whilst going past. £61 for 3 sandwiches and 3 beers. Expensive but would be fine if the quality matched.

First off two of the beers were forgotten. Then we waited 35 minutes, no sandwiches. The restaurant was less than half full but the 3 members of staff seemed to have no idea what was happening. We asked where they were and they came 5 minutes later. All were soggy and luke warm. One sandwich was incorrect, we were given a po’boy instead of a Reuben. The bread was cheap, frozen and reheated. Chips were oily and cold. Salad was undressed and uninspiring.

Last time for us at delifonseca. We came for the new years meal and it was also not full and disappointing food. Would be surprised if it is running in a few years time.

A nice, stylish restaurant, with good service.
I had the fish and chips which was decent enough and was £15.
I expected a bit more from this restaurant after reading the reviews and it was better than ok, but not a five star loved it.

Best place ever, whether you want to go for breakfast or lunch. The food is lovely and amazing quality and the service is equally friendly and professional. Your food and conversation is not rushed and we enjoy having our monthly get together with friends here.

We stayed at the Travelodge Liverpool Docks and had breakfast in Delifonseca 4 times. The staff were lovely and the breakfast options were very good. Photo’s attached are of the Cinnamon Brioche French Toast & the Bircher Muesli. If we stay here again we will definitely go back to Delifonseca as we loved it.

Met a friend and her children for lunch (half-term) and whilst the food was quick and pleasant, the waitress was really miserable and acted like she couldn’t care less. I understand people are tired especially in half term, but it wasn’t busy it was quite empty. She walked away half way through asking for more drinks and we had to shout after her and tried everything to avoid eye contact when asking for the bill.
When she did respond, she was curt and offhand. Been many times and staff have always been pleasant but not sure I’d go there again after today.
