Prospective clients of Edward Mountain MSP, as co-owner of Delfur Farms and Delfur Fishings, on the Spey, ought to beware his penchant for absorbing income such as his Holryood salary of £58,000pa, and believing it unnecessary for him to earn that money by constituency work - nor bothering give any reason for so doing. This constituent of his believes that to be fraudulent - accepting contributions to his pay, & then deserting his post when asked for service. How this, as a matter of his character, affects clients of his fishing & farming businesses, is hard to opine - but I would not touch either with a bargepole given the choice - nor even a very long fishing rod.. Perhaps it's best to treat this person, & his businesses, with a greater degree of scepticism than most. Sir Ed has also incurred considerable criticism got a gross conflict of interests at Holyrood, thus, The Daily Record:
'the multi-millioniare landowner has been accused of a massive conflict of interest as a result of his £8.3million Delfur Fishings business on the Spey.'
