My Father recently was accepted into nursing care at Deanwood. The management of the home is excellent meaning its residents and patients are cared for with respect and thought, everything was done to make the move and my dads time in the home the most comfortable it could be. The nursing and care staff delivered palliative care in a supportive, sensitive and caring way which meant my dad and family felt really supported at that time. Thank you to all the staff there for doing such an important job so well. Sarah x

Where to start .....Deanwood Manor are an excellent care home!
Our dad Jack was a resident there for just over 2 years and nothing was to much trouble for them .
He could be very challenging at times and they were amazing with him and us ...they were like his extended family .
At the end of his life they treated him and us with overwhelming love,care and dignity!
We can not thank them enough xxx

My father stayed here for a month in respite due to my mam falling and breaking her hip! I found them to be very good, there wasn't many that would take my dad at such short notice he was welcomed and staff helped me with dad's belongings going and leaving. They didn't mind me ringing to check on him and had a pod where I could visit. My only complaint is that it was difficult to push a wheelchair to the pod as it was steep and not much walking area however if we had thought about it we could have had a lateral flow but they looked after him for his length of stay
