Dean’s butchers stepped in at the last minute when I was let down by a supermarket meat counter order. Well - the beef fillet for my Beef Wellington was tender and melt in your mouth delicious. Friendly and knowledgeable service too. We will definitely be getting our meat from here from now on. Thank you.

I fed the family again with my Christmas order, again without prompting, they said how good the meat was.....my cooking of course. Banter, that's another reason I love this shop, the chat and service I get.
I have been going to Dean most weeks from when they were at the Enterprise, with Andy and Michael except at Christmas when the family came over from Spain, then stayed.
This year was however different, I went to pick up my Christmas order, they asked how long I had been coming, my reply 25-30 years, I left shell shocked. I was handed my bag of different meats and I asked how much ? I was told 'Nothing, Merry Christmas and Happy Retirement,' speechless I said a very quiet 'thank you'.
P.S You really should try their plain sausage. Sorry Andy, 'traditional' , other flavours are available.

Bought some Lacobs ladder ribs from these guys today, service really good and friendly and attentive.
The meat was great quality. I cooked home made short rib with homemade bbq sauce and sour cream with roasted new potatoes. And it was really good.
Will come back and buy from here as I could have bought I lot of things I saw on display.

Fabulous old school butchers. Incredible range of meats. The Herby sausages are so tasty. I wanted a saddle of lamb and they boned, rolled and stuffed it for me right there and then - talented butchering and unbelievable customer service and all delivered with old fashioned courtesy and a friendly, professional manner, they even had a laugh and joke along the way. Can't recommend Dean Quality Butchers enough - they live up to their name in every way - Quality.

Have loved coming here on and off for 2 years for a Saturday rump steak. However, over the last couple of months they never have any available due to a local restaurant buying them all. Only leaves much more pricey cuts as an option. Service always good and friendly but sadly I'm having to take my custom to another butcher that actually has rump steak available, so won't be going back.

I have been coming to this butchers for over 20 years
They were originally in the enterprise centre.
I hate buying meat from the supermarket and so will you after buying from Deans.
They are the friendliest butchers, fantastic quality meat and always happy to give you advice. I’ve been encouraged to try things I wouldn’t have before. The knowledge they have about the meat and their suppliers is outstanding. If you want quality and a friendly service this is the place to go.
My favourites are their duck breast, steak, pork chops and beef short rib, chuck steak that melts in the mouth, chicken and their black pudding is one of my husband’s favourites. You are definitely missing out if you haven’t shopped here, give them a try I promise you will not be disappointed.
