I’m in there most days and the staff are always cheery, efficient and knowledgeable. My favourites are (in reverse order): Beef & horseradish baguette, Cornish pasty, jam donut and at #1 Almond ring. Delicious.

Nice bakery with lovely baked goods but terrible coffee and inconsistent service. I’ve never managed to have a good coffee here, as it seems the young staff have not been trained yet and usually have an older manager shouting at them constantly. Not the most pleasant service - but I know the young staff are trying their best.

We cycle here from Cambridge to buy a Chocolate Eclair - or an Apple Turnover - as a Saturday treat. They are light and airy, large enough for 2 of us to share and are stuffed full of cream.

Very nice traditional bakery. Nice and tasty pasteries, freshly made. Good coffee as well. They also have sandwiches that look nice although I haven't tried those. Good service at a very reasonable price. Recommended!
