Great friendly staff and great pies and pasties! I had a Westmoreland pasty which was lovely. FYI though: if you are allergic to sesame ALL their sandwiches have sesame in.

A small food hall, right at Oxenholme Station. The breakfast options are worth a try, as they're far better than the food stall on the platform. I had a coffee and bacon roll. There are no inside tables, but it was just warm enough to sit at one of the benches outside.

Hugely rude company that seem shocked when people are picking up or dropping off next to the station.

Seeking different premises may be a good idea if you’re going to get so irate about cars and taxis outside the station.

To top it off the food is bang average, won’t be purchasing anything from these lot and I would advise others to stay well clear!

I don't get much chance to visit but the coffee, and cakes, are spot on. That's all you need to know. (The pasties are excellent and they sell Keswick Ketchup which is the best of all the ketchups). So there turned up to be more you needed to know. Also sweets. And seeing as it's next to a British train line all of these are important.

We've been going to Willans regularly since covid lock down. All the staff are friendly and very helpful and a great place to buy fresh fruit and vegetables as well as tasty pies and sandwiches.. They work hard catering for both locals and tourists . We can't thank them enough for their all their hard work and effort.

Usually excellent quality food and service. I was disappointed today to find when I got on the train that my pre made beef and chutney sandwich had a use by date of yesterday. I'm surprised and now have to be vigilant on expiry dates on everything that I buy there ? not what you expect from a grab and go service..

A favourite place to get a coffee and snack before travel. The best breakfast bun I’ve tasted in a long time. Very friendly staff.

Well I'm rather upset by a work colleague who asked if I'd tried the food and cakes from this local food hall, as I'm traveling down to Kendal regularly for training. Having told her no, that I thought it would have been shut after 5pm, I decided to pop in on the way back to the train station. Oh my, they sell some lovely local items, the pies looked very good but I opted for a slice of THE most amazing lemon frangipan cake, it was huge and simply just divine. For £3 it was excellent value too, it was like a door stop! The lady that served me was also very friendly despite the cold wet evening. I know where I'll be popping into more often now, good job the hill up from Kendal gives you a good workout. Thank you for the delicious treat. Sorry I couldn't wait to eat it, so I didn't get a photo.
