Not one to leave a poor review normally, and I'm trying to not be angry as we use this butcher a lot and the quality of meat is exceptional - however I have just collected pre-ordered kebabs, usually all seasoned and with pepper and onion looking beautiful as a treat, to find I've collected 20 sticks of cubed chicken at a price of £1.50 per kebab for 4 chunks of chicken. I work really hard, and I support local businesses as I think it's right and we're lucky enough to be able to. As I head to make these kebabs for my family myself (wondering why I didn't purchase 4 chicken breasts at half the price) I'll try not to be cross and hope this is a one off by some poor employees with bad customer service.

The staff are always extremely helpful and polite, and the quality of their products is top notch, we changed our choice of Christmas bird at the last minute and they did it willingly

Can’t offer enough praise, great guys who know their stuff with great meats. If you want some good sausages this is the place to come. The vacuum packed gammon is also a good option. I find the pork pies a little salty to my taste…but it doesn’t stop me buying and eating them.

The steak pies were awesome the kids loved them. The meat and potato pies are to die for. And the port pie with apple was lovely never tasted better. Cant fault the place

Popped in for some lunch, grabbed a sausage roll. It was not nice, tasted mass produced and plain. Would not recommend based on this experience but caveat that with a very limited experience, hence not giving it 1*.

I will try again for a more traditional meat requirement and feedback.
