We were so lucky to find this place whilst driving by. It is so peaceful and friendly with gorgeous surroundings and plants everywhere! The perfect place to go for a little escape where you can take a picnic, let your kids play and the bonus of a small farm with the cutest animals. There is a sweet cafe inside the farm shop and the we would love to have some coffee and cake next time!
The shop has home grown fruits and veg and a variety of things made locally.
I would highly recommend visiting as we left with a smile on our faces and such a calm feeling. Truly wonderful.

A large, well stocked and friendly garden centre. With plenty of off road parking, this is a convenient farm shop just off the A14 near Cambridge airport.

We stopped in for kindling and found a large selection of plants, cut flowers, fresh fruit & veg and so much more. This truly is a well stocked place. Other ranges including plant/veg seeds and bulbs, bird food and feeders.

We popped in for one thing, came out with so much more. There are also animals, and I think, a small cafe to check out next time.

I happened to be cycling on my push bike exploring the lanes and stumbled across here. They have a cycle rack so if you are on a push bike you can secure your bike and enjoy looking around.

I am glad I discovered here as it is a really nicely presented farm shop, with a load of nice products. I was hungry and they had ready to eat food too which was nice. I enjoyed looking at the variety of garden plants on sale too.

The host was really warm and friendly, which is not a surprise as she clearly believed in what they are doing which is the most important positive for me -that is the fact the shop is giving disabled people a chance to learn skills etc in there.

I am surprised no one really mentions this aspect in their reviews - yes some of the prices are higher on some things which some reviewers are moaning about but other prices are around supermarket level. However this is also supporting their good cause.

I took my ready to eat food and made use of their really nice picnic area then had a look at their farm animals before I was on my way. A really nice discovery and I will be sure to be back if cycling close again.

Very good nursery and farm shop. Great selection of plants especially in spring/summer with all the bedding plants, the greenhouses look amazing. I love wandering through the huge greenhouse with all the amazing hanging baskets and the floor a carpet of green gradually turning colourful as everything starts flowering. Fun to take childen round to see the animals and hobbit house. Well stocked farmshop. Great bakery selection. Cafe area with their own homemade cakes, the chocolate brownies and lemon cakes are delicious. Very helpful friendly staff. All supporting adults with learning disabilities. A very good place to spend some time and money!
I still love coming here and highly recommend it.

Darwin Farm Shop is a rustic, no-nonsense place with a good selection of fruit and veg, locally produced pickles, juice and the like. It also sells a range of foods from small producers. Add to that plants and hanging baskets, a good range of seeds for planting, bird and pet supplies and gardening needs. There's even a DIY coffee and cake corner.

I've just come back from my first ever visit to Darwin Nurseries.
I shall be going back again.
I went for my fruit and veg as I wish to go plastic free.
All of my purchases were thus and I brought only British so no air miles were involved.
A good selection of gluten free products and farm shop type stuff.
And a help yourself and pay at the counter little drinks corner.
And you can refill your washing up liquid bottles here.
And hopefully soon your detergents to.
They do work with people having special needs which is admirable.
And they have chickens goats and pigs for the children and a nice play area.
I will be supporting these people.
Keith
