I stumbled across this gem online when researching places serving breakfast using Redhill Farm produce. Called in on Saturday morning. An exceptionally welcoming team in a beautifully decorated barn conversion. The attention to detail makes this somewhere special. The bacon was full of flavour. That black pudding was the best I’ve ever had too (melt-in-the-mouth and could taste the seasoning. So far removed from the dried hockey puck served in most places). The toast: Crisp on the exterior and fluffy within. Even the ketchup was a bit tastier than the usual fare. All washed down with a great pot of tea. Those pancakes devoured by my mum also looked perfect too.

Highly recommend and will definitely call again.

My friend treated me to lunch. Absolutely delicious. I had the flat bread with chicken and bacon and my friend the vegetarian one. Lovely friendly staff .

Absolutely stunning cafe and small shop. We stopped with our 2 boys (4 and 8) who enjoyed running around in the safe and open space outside.

The food was absolutely gorgeous, the coffee is the best I have ever tasted anywhere and the staff (which included the owners) were friendly and fully attentive.

You can tell this family business is run from the heart with every single bit of detail from the impeccable decor (the wooden ladder running across the exposed beams is originally from the farm and is over 60 years old) right down to the huge sachets of tomato ketchup.

This is an absolute jewel in the crown of North Lincolnshire!

Have visited here quite a few times since it opened and the food and surroundings are excellent. I have also had to leave many times due to no tables available. When I visit with friends then it's a little easier getting a table while one of us orders the food but when I visit on my own I can't grab a table and be at the counter at the same time . .. quite often other people come in and take the available table, so frustrating!!! Couldn't you have a 'Please Wait Here To Be Seated' sign during busy times?
Regards Nick

A wonderful find, quite literally in the middle of nowhere.

Farm diversification, a beautiful barn conversion, a coffee shop in the middle of nowhere, described by a Lincolnshire Live scribbler as the best coffee in Lincolnshire.

Too many open coffee shops with no knowledge of coffee, buy cheap beans, don't invest in equipment or staff, then wonder why they don't last more than six months.

Best coffee in Lincolnshire, only one way to find out, pay a visit, a little over half an hour drive from Lincoln.

Two things notice on walking in, stunning barn conversion and busy.

The coffee connoisseur will notice the la Marzocco espresso machine and beans sourced from Dark Woods, a roastery located in the wilds of Yorkshire.

A small selection of bites and cakes to eat, sourced locally, for example sausages from Redhill Farm (their Lincolnshire sausages are the best in the county).

Was the coffee the best in Lincolnshire? No. But I did not expect it to be better than Coffee Aroma or Madame Waffle and not in the same league as found in the very best coffee shops in Nottingham. But that is not a criticism. Better than will find elsewhere, and with an owner keen to learn it can only get better. And that is why the good coffee shops are good, they are open to ideas and constantly improving.

Magazines are dotted around. Drift and Standart would be excellent additions.

I did not try, but the cakes on display looked delicious.

The food I did try, soup and bacon and brie toasted sandwich, nicely presented.

What struck me apart from busy, the beautiful building and the excellent coffee, was the passion.

Many restaurants are now closing, and yes, rising costs, rents, BID Levy are killing businesses, but what is killing businesses, is no one cares, for too long have got away with poor quality, poor service, then on leaving to add insult to injury, demand a service charge.

If I asked a different question, was it good coffee, worth the trip, then yes, both for the coffee and the ambience.

Over an hour round trip from Lincoln, but worth the trip, even if only for a coffee.

This is a little gem a little pricey but as everything is locally sourced the taste of the breakfast is amazing I believe you pay for what you get. Now the amount you get maybe a little more ie a sausage an extra rash of bacon or another black pudding. I know you can get extra but for a extra £1 each item. Soon adds up. But apart from that excellent service staff are friendly and we will keep coming back. Thank you.

Great little find. Headed over via a word of mouth recommendation. Food and service was excellent. And very reasonably priced too.
