So we had a fence placed by Danbury Fencing about 5 years ago, the actual installation was not a good experience, the fitter was constantly finding excuses not to complete the work and the process went on for about 2 weeks, in which the materials just clogged up the drive. When he did get round to installation, he broke multiple patio slabs, we had a few wobbly posts, the post heights all varied in relation to the panel height and only about half of the posts had the little top pieces.

Anyway over the 5 years we had multiple panels pop out as they were literally only held in with 2 screws, one of which would snap and the panel would pop out. All fixable so even this didn't warrant me leaving a bad review.

But 2 weeks ago in one of the storms pretty much every post snapped, and the entire fence came down, on both side and back. Upon further investigation every post placed by Danbury Fencing was rotten, but only the posts placed by Danbury Fencing (we had a small section that they didn't replace which is significantly older but absolutely no rot)

We then tried emailing and calling, about getting the fence repaired (it was supposed to have a 10 year gaurentee) but we have never had a single response acknowledging our issues, which for me is the final straw. We've now had to have a new fence placed from a different company which is concrete and significantly nicer. I would just be careful going with Danbury Fencing, and make sure don't pay until it's absolutely perfect

Edit/reply - after re-reading the original correspondence and from 2019 i stand corrected, it was a 15 year service life expectation....but all failed after 5 years.

I did laugh at your throughly unprofessional reply, but just reinforcement of my original points, and your lack of responsibility or apology.

The reason I stated not to pay until totally happy, was because you pressured us to pay the moment it was finished despite not being satisfied.

If it helps I can provide the quote number, the installer was called Lee, and after the original set of complaints a chap called Adam came to assess the issues and agreed it needed a lot of remedial work.

Maybe get your facts right before accusing people of leaving false reviews
