Not only are there 3 beautifully converted barns to choose from but the surrounding countryside (Dovedale) and gorgeous farm animals just make this heaven on earth. Greeted by a warming log burner fire on a cold damp day (yes it was almost summer but you know...) along with fresh local produce and the genuinely caring couple that are Andrea and John, we soon settled and relaxed into our chill mode. We used this as a work away few days to do client visits in the area so we were still busy working but when we finished work for the day, stepping out of the door for a local walk or cuddling the baby goats soon washed away the working day. Everything you need is provided in the well-equipped kitchen, bedrooms and en-suites. The living rom is very cosy yet light and bright with views of the farm and countryside. There's also the huge treat of the onsite micro brewery, Dovedale Brewing Company Ltd, and we made the most of sampling some of the amazing creations (and brought some home). I can't recommend a stay at Winnow Barns enough...treat yourself, you will not be disappointed!
