Very nice place, we took a visitors tour. The lady was very nice and explaining in understanding way for people that dont understand much. It was 12 gbp per person. Very interesting place.

Dalmore Distillery is closed for public. But you can still see the outside of the distillery. Have a look at the buildings covered with dark smoke.

Did the distillery tour, bought a bottle of 18yo and distillery edition from the gift shop. Knowledgeable staff, and of course excellent products!

I wanted a special bottle of single malt whisky for special occasions.
I searched the web looking for the best rated. Dalmore 12 years was that bottle. I bought it and soon had a celebration at a gorgeous hotel. I opened this bottle and me and my wife drank a toast. Wow. What a fantastic malt. Everything the experts said. Thank you Dalmore Distillery for producing such a star.

It's a nice whisky but the visitor center is not very interesting.
It's small so it feels crowded when 5 people are around.
And you have the regular selection and no miniature bottles.
And if you want to taste something it's 5£.
I've seen better visitor centers and I don't like the fact that you have to pay for ever sip to try before you buy.

The production was not running because of shut down work. Therefore the visit was free but it didn't really make a difference to us because it was very well explained!
We learnt a lot and enjoyed ourselves.
There is one tasting at the end, but you can try other whiskies for a small charge.
I recommend!
