Really recommend this place as an excellent option for buying bikes for the whole family. Adam (owner) was super helpful in finding the right size bike for my son and sent pictures of the bike once he'd found it so that I could check and agree. Yesterday I discovered that my rear tyre was flat due to a leaking/perished valve. I couldn't face trying to remove the rear wheel myself (not a quick release wheel) so I phoned Chris at Cycle Fix It. He was extremely helpful and offered to fix my bike today.
I dropped the bike at 830 and by around 1030 he phoned to say it was ready, and that whilst he was working on the bike, he noticed my rear brake blocks were worn (I was aware they were very old) so he had replaced them and the brake cable (which was also old and partially frayed). This was so helpful, rather than leaving the brakes to be replaced another day with the associated extra labour and inconvenience.
The cost was really good for the work and the parts and I would definitely recommend this business for bike repairs. Whilst I was collecting the bike, I saw him helping another couple (one of whom was in a mobility scooter) with an issue - and providing excellent customer care.
I will be back when I need anything in the future!
