One of my absolute favourite restaurants in Skipton, the food is always orgasmic. The place is stunning with a great atmosphere. Very friendly Owners that provide excellent service. Arranged a small welcome reception for a Wedding. The whole event was outstanding. The food, service and bubbles were exceptional. The friendliness and professionalism of all involved was above and beyond …. Cannot thank them enough. The whole Wedding party commented on the event … Loving every minute. We went here on 2 February 25 and was really looking forward to it, unfortunately on arrival our table was not ready (7pm), so had to wait for about 10 mins, after being seated, another table of 6 arrived, with their order being taken quickly, however we were still sitting waiting. After grabbing someone’s attention, we finally placed our order, which finally arrived 45 minutes later (8pm) but was not worth waiting for. Unfortunately, the lack of service didn’t stop there, we ordered the Chateaubriand, which arrived at 9pm frustratingly, it was dry and over cooked. After two hours of waiting we hadn’t eaten. It was the worst service we have ever experienced.

Had a nice lunch here. The food was really lovely and so was the wine. My only observation is that there are too many tables crammed in which makes it very uncomfortable. I understand why an establishment would do that, but being bumped into all the time and having to navigate tiny gaps on the way out of your seat isn't pleasant.

Me and my partner stayed at the Curious Fox after seeing it on channel 4 and we had the best time! The bar, restaurant is fantastic, our room was absolutely spotless and cosy and one of the owners even noticed us sitting at the bar downstairs and came over to welcome us personally.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing, in fact I'd go so far as to say it was the best breakfast I have ever had!!

I'd recommend this place to anyone....5 stars all the way!!!👍

Lovely stay at The Curious Fox for my husband's birthday. Staff very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast and evening meal was really tasty, well presented and a great atmosphere in the restaurant and bar area.
Rooms were really clean, and lovely touch with tea and coffee.
This hotel is in a great central location.

We visited today all the way from Manchester after stumbling upon the place the same time last year and had such a fantastic time again! The food was absolutely outstanding, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. We’ve already booked to come back and can’t wait to visit again. Truly a gem of a place—highly recommended!

Only had lunch here, not staying over, but the food was stunning!! And the service was perfect, lovely owner & barman. Looking forward to going back next time we’re in Skipton. Highly recommend.
