We had a private dining experience with Mark on our honeymoon as a wedding gift, the best gift we've ever been given!! Our accommodation was open plan so it was very intimate but Mark put us both at ease by being so friendly and helpful. It was such a unique experience! The food was out of this world, by far the best food we've ever eaten. I would have no doubts about recommending Mark, his food is amazing and such a great bloke too! Thank you!!

Booked Mark for my boyfriend and his mom’s birthday and his parents anniversary in July. Mark was great, was consistent with communication and accommodated last minute changes we had. Food was great and Mark was very professional and great to talk to. He cleaned up everything after, zero work on our end, which was nice as we were able to spend the time enjoying with our family. Definitely recommend booking him if you’re considering a private chef.

I arranged a surprise holiday away at a cottage in Devon for my husband's 75th birthday and part of the surprise was a dinner party for 4 catered by Mark. It was an amazing evening from start to finish, his professionalism and friendly manner added to the success of the evening, Needless to say the food was outstanding, especially the sea bass and well, the chocolate brownies were to die for!! Thank you Mark for everything, especially leaving the place spotless!! I look forward to repeating the whole experience and cannot recommend you highly enough.

Mark has just catered for our wedding for 31 people, we could not have asked for anything more, the food was amazing, absolutely delicious, every one of our wedding party were praising the lovely food Mark prepared for us! Mark was so helpful in preparing a menu for us, based on our personal tastes and suggested a sharing style feast which was brilliant. Any queries we had were always responded to immediately. We also had the table and chair decorations provided by his wife, which were beautiful, the room was transformed! Mark recently cooked a fantastic 3 course dinner for a friends hen party. He was very friendly and professional. We had a few allergies and dietary preferences within the group and Mark was able to make adjustments with only a few days notice. Mark/Culinary Affairs have catered twice for me now and each time the food was amazing. The first time Mark catered for 36 people with very little notice due to illness of our original Chef, covering the original menu perfectly. Recently Mark cooked again for us for 26 people this time using his own menu and boy was it good. He produced restaurant quality food in our tiny kitchen and very temperamental oven, ably support by his wife Claire. Our party throughly enjoyed everything that Mark prepared and I am already being asked when Mark will be back to cook for us again!
I highly recommend Mark/Culinary Affairs for any function that you may wish to have.
