Lauren made me the most amazing cake for my Halloween party. It was exactly what I was hoping for and more. The cake was delicious and the design was like nothing I'd seen before. Lauren AKA “Crumble & Velvet” has created many delectable buttercream masterpieces for our family over the years. She is innovative, creative and unflinchingly talented. Her cakes taste superb (I thoroughly recommend the lemon cake) which she lovingly designed for a 70th birthday around a theme of bees and honeycomb. We couldn’t believe our eyes! And tastebuds! I can’t finish this review without mentioning Lauren’s secret weapon.. the Macarons (not to be confused with a Macaroon - if you know you know!) oh these wickedly dreamy little delicacies deliver the perfect sweet hit and level of chewiness/crunch with every bite - I am very partial to the Salted Caramel. Hand on heart - Lauren’s Macarons rival, and are far superior to a top Norfolk competitor - and that speaks volumes! Keep doing what you’re doing! Next up - my 40th birthday = 40 Macarons!! Lauren’s cakes are so beautiful and intricate, I got a cake for a friends 30th birthday, it was decorated with gorgeous edible flowers, delicious macarons and the salted caramel sponge was so die for!!!

I love that you can get the macarons in the local village butchers too.

Very communicative and responsive, and great advice on which direction to go in, clarifying everything with me beforehand.

Lovely lady and I can’t wait to get the next one!

Wow!!!! What a great purchase. Ordered cake for a friend’s birthday celebration and the feedback all around was amazing. The cake tasted amazing, the presentation and decoration was breathtaking. Fabulous bespoke cakes and wedding cakes for that special occasion. A family member had a three tier wedding cake and it was literally the most perfect cake we’ve ever seen, it tasted amazing! Highly recommend the macarons too! Thank you so much
