Had a fantastic time on our visit to the farm. It was around £30 for a family of five and was definitely value for money. There's a cafe which did a lunch box for the kids and a soft play area which was an extra £3. Hand washing facilities weren't great but overall a great day.

I absolutely loved this little farm, the staff are friendly, the animals are fabulously looked after and you can buy a food bucket to feed some of them! There's plenty of signage about the place directing where to go and what not to feed making it easy to navigate. Would definitely recommend visiting here! 🙂

The best city farm we've been to. Free too! They focus on presenting all the different rare breeds of goats, sheep, cows and pigs which is interesting. Has guinea pigs and rabbits. As it was spring lots of little bunnies, foals, lambs etc about. You can buy buckets of chopped carrots and they have petting sessions throughout the day for the kids.

Brilliant little farm, the farm animals they have out are all active and come up to the fence when your close by (with a £2 bucket of food)...

They had meerkats and the birds of prey last time I went (2 years ago) they no longer have them....

I'd say It's okay for kids under the age of 10....but yes I'd highly recommend the farm if you want you're kids to have a nice time.

Oh and the smell is vile🤣

This farm is a fantastic day out, particularly if you're on a budget. The price is probably the cheapest you'll see for farm attractions, and you get an awful lot for your money!
I hold such fond memories of the farm from when I was a child, have taken my children since they were little, they're now teenagers and still love to go!
The farm offers feed buckets for £2 each, which have a selection of fresh veg for the animals. Signage all around the farm tells you who not to feed (usually the very round and cheeky ones, haha) and there are staff all around that you can ask if you're unsure. The animals are fantastically funny, cheeky goats and sheep will do anything to try to get in your food buckets, and there is a constant background noise of children laughing as they enjoy feeding the cheeky animals. There is a pram park shelter so you can leave the pram and change bags, leaving your arms free to pick up the kids or whatnot.
The small animal area allows you to get up close with chickens, guinea pigs and rabbits, to say hello, have them on your knee and pet them.
The cafe is reasonably priced, and there is a good range of foods. ( I've added pictures of the current menu as I was unable to find any when I was checking prior to taking a fussy eater)
