Kinda disappointed honestly.

A brought an air rifle in about a month ago to be traded in for something else. When the guy who served me looked at the rifle he told me that it had a broken stock and wouldn’t get much back for trade in value because of this (got about £30 back in trade in value). Traded the rifle in anyway and got something else.

I decided to go onto the Gunstar page where they have all there guns for sale and potential look at something else to buy. To find the air rifle that i brought in that had a “Broken stock”..which they haven’t replaced due to a certain mark on the stock that I know it has..and doesn’t mention having a broken stock in the advert on the gunstar page?

Kinda disappointed that I was told that the stock was broken which clearly it wasn’t!
And to be selling it for 7x the money!
Won’t be using Crawfords again!

I travelled from Hull to pick up a rifle from here and it really is a hidden gem of a place. Lots of beautiful guns and accessories at competitive prices. I dealt with Andy and he was excellent. He set up the rifle with my selected scope and mounts and then let me loose on their indoor range for test firing with a (free) tin of pellets and a (free) coffee. I wasn't rushed at all and could happily have stayed on the range all day. If you're after shooting supplies then this place is a must visit. Only 30 minutes drive from Hull as well! Cheers Andy.

Took my first air rifle in there 4 weeks ago for a set up, scope check etc (I know nothing about air rifles) and had to call them to get an update yesterday, they told me it was ready and the cost was £10!
I called today to collect and asked the employee what had been the problem-he said he didn’t know and that was the end of the conversation.
He seemed much more interested in talking to another customer.
I had to wait 5 minutes while he served yet another customer before I could get his attention to ask him for the pack of pellets his colleague asked me for when I originally dropped the gun off.

I’m new to air rifles, fair enough, I shouldn’t be made to feel less important because I’m new to something.

After looking for a lightweight gun for a while, I spotted what I wanted at Crawfords. Quick phone call to check and an hours drive from Sheffield. As described on the website and a good fit for me. Brew and a nice chat while I decided. No pressure while I kept mounting and remounting and looking around. He fitted the chokes I wanted and gave me a small discount. Seems fairly priced compared with other gun shops. It's worth an hours drive, I'll stock up on ammo next visit.
