Brilliant butcher. Quality of meat is excellent. Staff are VERY helpful & knowledgeable. I get most of my meat & poultry here. I highly recommend them . Only downside, & it has nothing to do with the shop, is that parking can be an issue . There is a small layby directly outside the shop but due to it's popularity, the layby is often full. Recommend you visit during the week if possible.

This is the third year I have ordered our Christmas meat as having moved to the are and this year has left me very disappointed. I had ordered a trimmed and stuffed turkey crown, on collection is was told I had ordered a plain crown. The issue is is that it’s not even a crown! It’s a large breast?! Luckily I had ordered extra stuffing and I will have to stuff and wrap the ‘breast’ myself. I hope on Christmas Day it’s not a further disappointment. Further more the member of staff just stood there and offered no apology or suggestions leaving me with no choice but to take my plain turkey breast. I choose to support local and pay a premium to do this however next year I will probably return back to M&S.

Vastly knowledgeable, all sorts of uncooked meats, but also cooked, rubs for meat, marinades, kebabs, eggs, cheese and appropriate sauces.

We have been customers here for many years now and wouldn't go anywhere else for our meat. Always top quality service and produce. Great value chicken breasts that do not shrink when cooked and minced beef doesn't need fat draining because it isn't fatty! Love all the barbecue foods from there too - the burgers especially!

A superb traditional English village butchers... Great selection of meats at reasonable prices served to you by friendly experienced staff. We've lived in the village 9 years and always go to Potters and have never had a bad piece of meat. Awesome.

Excellent quality meats and value for money. I love the Barnsley chump Lamb chops, the mince is very good, sausages are 95% meat, I could go on but you get the idea, and with all THE poorl reports about the meat products in the high street chain stores its great to come here and buy locally sourced, FRESH products. I have to mention the stuffing I bought at Christmas. Absolutely wonderful and perfect with everything!!
