Lovely shop, shame about the rude assistant. Dad and 3 year old boy in the shop. He was so keen to take his purchase up to the counter with Dad’s help, said hello and please to the assistant but didn’t get any response. He was encouraged by his Dad to say thank you, which he did, still nothing back except a glare. She then snapped multiple customers to pick up a small packet of chocolates from where they had slid from a basket to the floor and when nobody jumped into action (still figuring out what we were being asked to actually do) and she huffed at everyone and stomped out from behind the counter. I saw her serve two other customers her manner was uniformly obnoxious. Such a shame.

Beautiful shop in a stunning location ruined by an extremely rude shop assistant. Very tall thin lady who asked if a photo taken of a small display was for “personal use”. Yes you get people who take pictures for commercial gain, I know the law, but her rudeness and poor customer service meant we put all items back and didn’t purchase. Avoid this lady at all costs … or find somewhere else to buy from. Nice shop, terrible service.

Just returned from a stay across the road in the Lygon and bought some fabulous hot chocolate sticks and boxes of chocolates as souvenirs…
The lady in the shop who served us on both occasions was lovely, warning my 6ft3 other half of the low beams on both times as well as recommending products. Very friendly service, and lovely chocolate!

Shop is great but the lady is not! It appears she wants to tell you how to have a look in the shop for some reason. Kept staring at us the whole time and visibly looked awkward as if our presence was making her upset. We did buy some cocoa covered almonds which taste so nice.

Really pricey and the slim senior lady with the short brunette hair is extremely stroppy and has really poor customer service, I almost didn't buy anything. Shame as the merchandising and location are fabulous. I had been to told after that "you either get the friendly one or the snotty one" shame .

Broadway is a nice village and staff in all the shops we went in were polite and friendly all bar one. The lady of a mature age serving was unpleasant and rude.

On our visit to the lovely Cotswold village of Broadway we popped into this lovely thatched roof building, inside it has a great selection of chocolates in all shapes and sizes, all presented in lovely rapping paper some with very nice designs on.If you like chocolate like most people do you will love it in here as there is something for everyone. We succumb to the temptation and left with a little something to please our taste buds....Naughty but Nice.If you are in the area and like a bit of chocolate this is the place to visit,it’s just the job....?

Nicest chocs I've had in years - especially recommend the dark choc raspberry truffles. Quality.
