Disgusting, we paid for parking and because the full registration was not printed, despite us putting the full reg in the machine, they fined us at The Courtyard. Appealed and a reduced fine. I will pay just to get this out of my hair but honestly I will NEVER park at The Courtyard again. How can they use such a disgusting company. Even the phone line you call is premium rate. This company is a complete scam. You could see from my ticket that I had clearly paid. I sent the proof and they just ignored it.

Absolutely money grabbing... no option to pay by cash only download ringo app! £1 parking which resulted in £60 fine or £100 disgusting..
Received the fine just before Christmas, what a delight!

Lowest of the low when they issue parking fines when you haven't even parked in a car park .
Shame you have managed to achieve a 1 star rating as that is probably 3 more stars than you deserve.
100% appeal, they will blanket refuse your appeal expecting you just to pay up. Go through the independent appeal service and they'll withdraw their baseless fraudulent parking charge notice.

I find it so sad that at a time when many people are struggling financially companies like this find it acceptable to enforce ridiculous fines for such minor transgressions. 10 minutes late back from an important meeting with my bank and £80!!! No argument about overstaying my time buy how can they justify such disproportionate fines. Even reduced to £50 it is around the same as a first time shoplifter would receive. In what world is that fair and reasonable.
And, once fined, the payments page has such tiny font you can barely read it.
You would think a town that looks like it is dying on its feet would want to encourage visitors. I will not be returning.

Rude, aggressive and bullying staff who clearly enjoy escalating situations. Not worth the time dealing with and shame on them for their attitude.

Couldn't agree more with all the comments on here, 0 compassion, 0 empathy, 0 understanding. Will never use any of their carparks, or facilities they are attached to again and would advise everyone thinking of parking at one of their sites to be very careful. We thought the machine was broken after attempting to pay (which they have later informed us via the appeal process we did despite the money not leaving the bank account or receiving a receipt from the machine?), subsequently fined £100 for not covering the duration of our parking. It all feels like a scam, with no recourse to challenge unless you have the money to go to court.

The issue with these kind of companies is they run a faceless operation that has zero leeway for anything, show zero understanding, and do not care about intent. Their whole operation is focussed on generating revenue from tripping people up, vague signs, unclear instructions. What’s more, is that the organisations who employ them (i.e Shropshire Council) take no accountability and are happy to outsource the problem, ironically and usually at the cost of the tax payer.
The model stinks.
For context, I had a child birthday party at Bridgnorth leisure centre. I had paid for 3 hours (about £5) but with the faffing around at the start (nobody knew if it was pay on entry/exit etc) and end of the session I had overstayed by about 20 minutes….that has cost me…. £100! For a ticket that would have cost about 50p…..On what planet is that a fair, proportionate penalty.

Scandalous business, issuing tickets to NHS medical staff who are covering in places that are short staffed. Zero empathy or understanding, this fine virtually wiped out all my daughter's earnings for her day at Leominster Hospital. Should be ashamed of themselves and just ghink what could happen to one of their relatives if there was not enough staff!
